PRAYER TO ST. JOSEPH FOR PRIESTS

Blessed Saint Joseph, shield with your powerful protection

those whom Jesus has honored with the authority and dignity

of His Piesthood. Intercede for their every need; sustain them

in their fatigues and labors; console them in their pains; fortify

them in their combats; and keep them holy. Obtan for them the

humiilty of St. John the Baptist, the faith of St. Peter, the zeal

and charity of St. Paul, the purity of St. John and the spirit of

prayer and recollection of which you, dear Saint, are the model.

So, having been faithful priests on earth, they may receive in

Heaven the just rewards promised to pastors according to the

Heart fo God. Amen.

PRAYER FOR VOCATIONS

O Holy Spirit, Spirit of wisdom and divine love, impart

Your knowledge, undestanding and counsel to youth

that they may know the vocation wherin they can best

serve God. Give them courage and strength to follow

God's holy will. Guide their goodness, fashion their

minds, conquer their hearts, and lead them to the

vineyards where they will labor in God's holy service.

A DISCIPLE'S PRAYER

Loving God, open our hearts to Jesus.

Give us the courage to speak His name to those

who are close to us and the generosity to

share His love with those who are far away.

We pray that every person in the world be

invited to know and love Jesus as Savior and

Redeemer. May we come to know His

tremendous love and may that love transform

every part of our society.

We ask this through Christ, our Lord.
